One of the biggest goals in SFI is keeping the members and having a stronger Team. 
Ability to do that will have a big impact on your success and earning. 

How to manage that? 

1. HELP YOUR MEMBERS 

When you get a new member, they're often really confused and they don't know what to do. 
Contact your member as soon as possible, get him into the job. 
Answers their questions and lead them step by step. 
Contact them every day, get to know them. 
When you show them the right way they will be more motivated and hard working. 

2. PLEASE THREE MAIN NEEDS OF A HUMAN 

- Need for security 

People want to feel comfortable and safe. They want to work with leaders that they can trust and they can look up to them. 
If you get to meet this need, you will get a loyal member. 

- Need for importance

That's a wish of a member who is jumping out of the crowd. 
Praise them whenever you have a reason. 
When you say something that will make your member feel important, you're getting to meet this need. 

- A sense of belonging

People love to be a part of Team, they like to work in harmony and to work with other people. 
If you make the feeling of happiness, satisfaction and good ties in your Team, they will enjoy their job and they will give their all. 

3. MAKE POSITIVE ENERGY IN YOUR TEAM 

Your first task as a leader is to make good ambiance for working. 
The first step is to take away fear and to get a high level of trust. 
Don't critic and judge your members when they do something wrong. 
Instead of that, make a Team that won't have fear of making a mistake.

4. GIVE SOME AFFECTION TO YOUR MEMBERS 

Meet your members, find their talents. 
Knowing of good and bad sides will help you in making a decision and having a better relationship with members. 
Listen to their wishes and ideas, then decide what to do. 

5. MOTIVATE YOUR MEMBERS 

Your success depends on the success of your members. 
If the member is motivated, they will get more productive. 
Motivate them in this ways :

- Praise them 
- Give them bigger responsibility 
- Give them an award 
- Let them say their opinions

Where can I advertise to get good results?

Here's the thing. If we were to tell our affiliates to advertise at "Website XYZ," that Website would instantly and immediately be reduced to no value for anyone. Like a good fishing hole, if everyone fishes there, there will no longer be any fish to catch for anyone. Hence, we simply cannot recommend specific places to advertise.

That said, here are some tips for finding good advertising sources:

1. First, we suggest you stop by the Marketing sub-forum at the SFI Affiliate Center. There, you can ask fellow SFI affiliates questions, brainstorm, and share ideas about effective advertising and marketing tips, strategies, and resources. You should also check out the Advertising/Marketing category at Ask SC for top questions and answers from the SFI community about getting good ad results. 

2. Next, there are BILLIONS of Websites and blogs on the Internet. Use a search engine like Google to find Websites and blogs that interest you. Now start surfing. When you find one you like and/or that you know has a good amount of traffic, contact the Webmaster (there's usually a "Contact Us" link in the footer or header of most sites) and ask about advertising on their site. You might be shocked at how cheap you can get banners on some fairly high traffic sites. 

Also, don't be surprised if some of the Websites you start advertising on decide to become affiliates themselves (sponsored by you of course). Each time this happens, you will have just created FREE (which is even better than cheap) advertising for your business!

NOTE: Do NOT broach the topic of them joining SFI initially or they will consider your contact to actually be SPAM and they will probably report you as a spammer. Get your ad on their site first. Later, you can start dropping a few hints (e.g. "By the way, you might want to consider allowing me to sponsor you in SFI. It's free to join, but I can show you how you can earn about $60 a year on each person who signs up from your Website."). You can have them sign up immediately under you by clicking on your banner on their Website.

Over time, you could have dozens or even hundreds of popular Web sites carrying your banner ads for FREE--generating a commission check that grows and grows every month.

3. Think newsletters! Hundreds of thousands of Web sites publish newsletters that they send to their subscribers daily, weekly, or monthly. Many Web sites feature a newsletter signup link on their homepages. When you find one, contact the Webmaster and ask if they will run an ad for you in their newsletter. 

Here again, you may be amazed at how cheap newsletter advertising can be, and yet many of these newsletters have a large and dedicated readership. That is, they have a LOT of subscribers, and their subscribers carefully read every issue of the newsletter (including your ad).

By the way, just as the first strategy created FREE Website advertising for you, so too can this create FREE newsletter advertising for you. Just remember to be patient in soliciting the newsletter publishers. Start running your ads BEFORE you ever bring up joining SFI, and when you do, do it tactfully. If they see it, they'll get involved. If they don't, that's OK too.

Here are a couple more tips related to newsletter advertising:

A. Generally, you'll get a much better rate by agreeing to run your ad in multiple issues as opposed to just one issue. Be sure to check on this. Running an ad multiple times is also important because most people dismiss an ad the first time they see it. It may take five to seven exposures before the reader decides you must be legit or you wouldn't keep advertising and actually inquires.

B. If the newsletter doesn't accept advertising, ask if you could "sponsor" the newsletter. That is, at the top or bottom of every issue, it would say something like,

4. What about OFFLINE advertising sources? Because SFI is so rooted in online marketing, many affiliates never consider offline advertising. The fact is, there are huge opportunities for successful offline promotions still out there as evidenced by the continued onslaught of direct mail pieces in your mailbox, billboards, radio ads, etc.

Now, unless you're highly experienced in the field of advertising, I do NOT recommend newspaper ads or advertising on radio or TV. A possible exception would be if you were doing it as a co-op and sharing the costs with several other SFI team members. Even as a co-op though, I advise proceeding very carefully in this area as the risks are high. That is, you could put out a large amount of money and get very, very little return.

What DOES work offline is classified ads in magazines. There are tens of thousands of magazines. Many of them have a classified ads section. And many even have a Business Opportunities section. Not only that, but rates are often quite reasonable.

What magazines might you try? I won't suggest specific titles, but there are, no doubt, thousands of titles that will probably pull for you. The only way to know for certain what will work and what won't is to actually test them by running an ad.

That said, here's one good piece of advice to keep in mind. To use another fishing analogy, "fish where the fish are biting." In other words, if you see a publication that has business opportunity ads in it, it's probably working for them and probably will so also for you. You can confirm these even further by looking through back issues (people generally don't run the same ads repeatedly if they're not getting results).

Of course, the opposite could be true, too. In other words, If there are no biz opp ads, you may want to avoid the publication. However, again, the only way to know for sure if a source will work is to test it.

One more thing to keep in mind: What we've found in offline advertising in the last few years is that you will often not get great QUANTITY, but the QUALITY is excellent. That is, the people you get from offline advertising will generally be much more responsive and active affiliates.

Q: Can I use these strategies and advertising sources for co-ops?

You absolutely can and should! This is, in my opinion, THE best way to build a growing SFI business. It's a win/win for you and your SFI team members. You'll even receive 100 VP for setting up your first ad co-op!

And if you're at least an EA, you can use SFI's Co-op Manager to set up and maintain your ad co-ops at no cost to you! SFI does all the heavy lifting. All you have to do is set up your co-ops and place the ads. Just give the URL for each ad that you place a keycode that corresponds to your co-op.

Example: You and nine team members put in $50 each for a classified ad that runs for three months in Money World Magazine. The URL you use in the ad (for readers to sign up at) is your basic /free Gateway plus the keycode 123. You've set up a co-op with your nine team members for keycode 123. Each time a signup is generated over the next few months from this keycode, you or one of your nine team members will be automatically assigned as the sponsor (the Co-op Manager rotates all signups equally so that each of the ten co-op participants gets basically every 10th signup).

General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) becomes effective May 25, 2018

SFI is international, does General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) which become effective May 25, 2018, change how we advertise our gateways? 
What about advertising on blogs? 
SFI is currently updating all our privacy policies and putting in place mechanisms for the other requirements of GDPR.  that it impacts your marketing as an affiliate of SFI.

This Regulation lays down rules relating to the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and rules relating to the free movement of personal data.

This Regulation protects fundamental rights and freedoms of natural persons and in particular their right to the protection of personal data.

The free movement of personal data within the Union shall be neither restricted nor prohibited for reasons connected with the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.

NO SPAMMING

Spamming continues to be a serious problem on the Web. SFI rigorously opposes the practice of spamming and is committed to doing our part to eliminate spam.Check out the SFI Affiliate Agreement for a detailed list of what SFI considers SPAM. You might also want to read about SPAM in this Wikipedia entry.

NO CROSS-SOLICITING

Soliciting SFI affiliates for other business opportunities is strictly prohibited.If you wish to be involved with other network marketing companies or business opportunities, that's fine; we have no problem with that at all. Just don't use any SFI communication program or tool (including, but not limited to, PSA and CSA group mailers, a2a, TeamMail, etc.) to promote to other SFI Affiliates about these outside businesses or for-profit endeavors.

When you cross-solicit other SFI Affiliates, you are are betraying EVERYONE in your entire group who is focused on the SFI system! It's unprofessional and it's unethical. If you are caught cross-soliciting your SFI upline or downline affiliates, your SFI account will be terminated, and you will lose all your SFI benefits, 

NO CROSS-LINING

Soliciting SFI affiliates from other organizations to rejoin under you is strictly prohibited.

SFI is a very large, global organization, with over a million affiliates located in virtually every country in the world. Hence, you may encounter fellow affiliates all over the Internet and even interact with them on social media sites, like Facebook, Twitter, etc. Interaction, sharing ideas, etc., is allowed and even encouraged. However, under no circumstances may you request or encourage an SFI Affiliate from another affiliate's organization to register as an SFI Affiliate under you.

NO AUTORESPONDERS

The SFI system is built around an extensive e-mail communication system. Therefore, you may not use an e-mail address that uses an autoresponse (automatic reply) message. Thousands of our affiliates receive dozens of e-mail messages and notifications from us each week. If autoresponders are on, that means we GET BACK THOUSANDS of useless messages that we then must wade through one by one so that we don't miss the legitimate messages with your important questions, suggestions, etc. It's also a huge waste of bandwidth.

So, if you have an autoresponder on your e-mail, you must either SHUT IT OFF or provide us with a different, separate e-mail address that you'll use for SFI communiques. If this is not done, your SFI affiliateship will be canceled.

UNAUTHORIZED REGISTRATIONS/UPGRADES

Registering new affiliates or upgrading your affiliates' ranks without their consent is strictly forbidden and is grounds for suspension or termination of your account. See the SFI Affiliate Agreement for more details.

ADVERTISING

You must use SFI-approved ads for sponsoring new Affiliates and referring new TripleClicks customers. Note that you can use the text ads, or you can use wording from any of the banners.

If you are a Team Leader, you may submit your own ads for our approval. They must be approved, however, before you can publish them.

If you're writing a new ad, here are a couple of tips:

* Avoid ANYTHING that sounds like a guarantee of income.

* Yes, the SFI system takes a huge amount of the "grunt work" out of building a sales organization, but please don't suggest that "we do all the work." In SFI's opinion, this kind of offer attracts lazy, unmotivated people—exactly the opposite of what you want. Often, ads that say "no work involved, they do everything," are dismissed without so much as a two-second look; most really good business-builders probably react the same way. There's no such thing as a free lunch, and intelligent people know that.

OTHER

Domain names may not be used as the name on your SFI account. This is to prevent cross-solicitation via the SFI Scoreboard, Forum, and other published lists.

When people click on your gateways they opt into you sending them emails and if they want they can easily opt out of SFI so there are no problems with you advertising your gateways.

As SFI do work with people who are from Europe that is why they will be updating their privacy policy and it also covers us as affiliates.

Yes, if you have a WordPress site, they JUST as of 4.6.9, offered ways you can download the data, and ways you can now delete the requested data as well. However, even with this in place, when I ran one of my sites through the cookiebot.com, it still said I was not GDPR compliant. I think they want a way for the user themselves to manually opt in or out of accepting cookies as well. I still need to look into plugins for this. Cookiebot's system has a trial available for theirs, but I need something free. Hopefully, I have this solved for my sites before Friday. The main points, as I understand them, is that if you collect information on your visitors/customers, you have to be transparent about it, have a published and easily accessible privacy policy...and you have to provide an easy way for your visitor/customer to have his/her information deleted from your servers upon request.

When planning a promotional campaign, remember that the campaign usually has three desired finishes:

Result 1: Your promotional message reaches the target audience
Result 2: Your message is understood by the target audience
Result 3: Your message is moving the receivers.

Now the topic is "How do you get these results with your campaign?" The process is very simple, but it takes time to plan.

Step 1: Evaluate Marketing Communications Opportunities.

Step 7: Determine Campaign Activity.

SFI is all about. So many people sign-up, expecting to earn thousands of dollars in a short period of time, with little or no effort on their part. The reason for this is, the Internet is flooded with ads that claim to put $1,000's in your pocket on "auto-pilot." As I comb through the free ads sites, traffic exchanges and safe-lists, I see this all the time. Newbies click our Gateway links and are rather disappointed when they find out they this is a "Real" business.

It's that old "You can Lead a horse to water..." thing!
You will NEVER find no matter how hard you look or how MUCH you spend a business that lets you "PUSH A BUTTON" or "DO JUST THREE THINGS" or "TURN ONE DOLLAR INTO A MILLION DOLLARS OVERNIGHT or A WEEK or A MONTH" they ain't out there! Bottom line there are actually 2 kinds of businesses you'll find online or off... those that are REAL and those I call FISHERS.

The REAL ones are actual LEGIT businesses, that if you will commit and be dedicated to you will eventually succeed! It might happen faster for some and slower for others but IF YOU WILL WORK AT THESE REAL BUSINESSES OVER TIME YOU CAN SUCCEED! 

The FISHERS are those that are just looking to get their hooks into people (the fish), bleed those people (the fish) for as deep as they can get into their wallets or purses and move on to the next person (the fish) that bit on their bait or some will just vanish with your money and a full belly! The FISHERS say things like "we'll show you how to turn just $7 into $10,000 in a week" what they fail to mention is they are gonna take YOUR $7 combined with $7 from a LOT of other FISH and THEY are turning all those $7 into $ 10,000!

THIS IS ALMOST A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF A FISHER and it happened, I wanna say in the early 1950s, and I may have the name wrong but it happened, anyways an American Presidential Portraits sent out millions of mail solicitations offering an AMAZING COPPER PORTRAIT of PRESIDENT LINCOLN FOR ONLY $9.95 AND IF YOU ORDER WITHIN 48 HOURS YOU'LL GET ANOTHER ONE YOU CAN USE AS A GIFT FREE!! It had a picture of the portrait you get and it was a GREAT ROUND PORTRAIT Of the 16th President Of The United States. It was also noted as all mail orders "Please allow up to 6 weeks for delivery"
Well, many...Many... MANY people ordered these AMAZING COPPER PORTRAITS FOR $9.95 and the VAST MAJORITY DROPPED THEIR ORDER IN THE MAIL WITHIN THE 48 HOURS. 
Well in about a month everyone started to receive their order and PEOPLE were NOT happy! Actually people weren't "not happy" they were LIVID with what they received. They most started writing to American Presidential Portraits demanding their money back and All the letters were returned because APP was no longer at this address and they left no forwarding address. 

Tomorrow I'll tell you why people wanted their money back! But I'd also encourage folks to guess why people were unhappy with their portrait.

Sorry got off topic a little but that's a good example of what's HAPPENING online to a LOT of people because they are willing to overlook something THEY KNOW just doesn't add up and they want it "to be" so bad they ignore that tingling in their gut THAT KNOWS the are gonna be the fish!

SFI is a GREAT OPPORTUNITY but like ANY business it's NOT gonna be great if you just join and wait for all the great things to happen! NO BUSINESS works like that! Not ONE! If someone tells you all you gotta do is join... RUNAWAYASFASTASYOUCAN someone is after your money! 

But if you will work, SFI the same way you would work your own store on Main Street you'll slowly but surely be successful! I believe it's important to develop a system that you stick to EVERY DAY! For example, I get up EVERY MORNING and turn RED TABS GREEN! EVERY MORNING! I EVEN START WITH THE SAME TABS EVERY DAY! 

And remember there are ups and downs in EVERY business. YOUR ability to work your way through the downs is what will make you successful.
