A job, or occupation, is a person's role in society. More specifically, a job is an activity, often regular and often performed in exchange for payment ("for a living"). Many people have multiple jobs (e.g., parent, homemaker, and employee). A person can begin a job by becoming an employee, volunteering, starting a business, or becoming a parent. The duration of a job may range from temporary (e.g., hourly odd jobs) to a lifetime (e.g., judges).

An activity that requires a person's mental or physical effort is work (as in "a day's work"). If a person is trained for a certain type of job, they may have a profession. Typically, a job would be a subset of someone's career. The two may differ in that one usually retires from their career, versus resignation or termination from a job.

Worker mentality: Reach around few minute past to working place, work allocated work, just kill time in non-productive work from 8.00 am to 5 pm, Be ready before closing hours 5.00 pm, Do not take care promises where he works of following utilities of electricity. water, tea/coffee dispenser, spend more time in wash/toilet than actual work, Bother the only salary salaried worker and employee, but not bother about the financial health of firm/factory. the poor mentality to take away some movable small item or to steal out. Do not motivated to contribute, suggest any improvement and innovations either process, design, services or product and work as a bull in old aged oil expeller mill's bull.

the owner or CEO mentality:

Reach before the prescribed time to works- few minutes before scheduled time, work or investigated possibly for improving work, do not bother to the time used in productive work, Finish and work free over time and leave as noted works condition, does take care of belonging, office, utilities , confidentiality, finance , care for introduction of innovative process, product or concept. Work tirelessly for the growth of an organization.
