Happy Mother Day - Long live my dearest Mom

Mothers day we honour our well wisher-My dearest mothe
The modern holiday of Mother's Day was first celebrated in 1908 when Anna Jarvis held a memorial for her mother at St Andrew's Methodist Church in Grafton, West Virginia. St Andrew's Methodist Church now holds the International Mother's Day Shrine.[8] Her campaign to make Mother's Day a recognized holiday in the United States began in 1905, the year her mother, Ann Reeves Jarvis, died. Ann Jarvis had been a peace activist who cared for wounded soldiers on both sides of the American Civil War and created Mother's Day Work Clubs to address public health issues. Anna Jarvis wanted to honor her mother by continuing the work she started and to set aside a day to honor all mothers because she believed a mother is "the person who has done more for you than anyone in the world".[9]
Although Jarvis was successful in founding Mother's Day, she became resentful of
the commercialization of the holiday. By the early 1920s, Hallmark Cards and other
companies had started selling Mother's Day cards. Jarvis believed that the companies had
misinterpreted and exploited the idea of Mother's Day and that the emphasis of the holiday
was on sentiment, not profit.
The mother-child relationship can be one of the most complicated, and rewarding, of all relationships.
As any parent will tell you, the practice of raising a child can be extremely difficult, and mothers definitely deserve our thanks and praise.
And while it certainly isn’t enough to appreciate her just one day out of the year, Mother’s Day is a good start.
In honor of mothers everywhere, it is vitally important to appreciate all of the enormous sacrifices they have had to make for the sake of their children.
This exclusive list reveals nine all-important reasons to give your mother a giant “Thank you” on Mother’s Day.
This certainly opened my eyes to just how important it is to give mothers our love and appreciation in return for all that they do…
Scroll through below for a beautiful reminder that on Mother’s Day — and every other day of the year — we have so many reasons to say “Thank you” for all of the incredible things our moms have done for us!

Thank You For Staying Up With Us

Thank You For Putting Us First

Thank You For Keeping Us Fed

Thank You For Giving Up Your Quiet Time

Thank You For Letting Us Crawl In Bed

Thank You For Being There In Sickness And Health

Thank You For Bringing Us Joy

Thank You For Spending Time With Us

Thank You For Letting Us Be Ourselves

So, on Mother's Day, all we really have to say is
